I’m out of Australia travelling into the US soon. I would like to book domestic flights across the US but cant appear to find anywhere on the airline sites an choice to add checked bags. I realise I must cover bags, which I have no issue with but HOW do it?? I actually dont want to arrive at the airport and be struck with bags fees. Any help will be appreciated.
If you check in for your flight online or in person, then you’ll be asked about luggage. You may pay any luggage fees afterward. I’ve not ever seen anything with combined airlines, which I fly a whole lot, about pre paying luggage prices.
Nicely with many US airlines such as Southwest that charge for checked luggage, you assess in online hours before your flight. Then you will be asked the number of bags are being assessed in and after that you can pay online with your debit or credit card.
You simply need your document locator to test in hours before the flight.
Thank you.
You ought to have a confirmation number when your booking is finished. That’s a record locator. In case you dont have this, your ticket number, email address which has been used at the time of booking or credit card number used southwest airlines reservations to reserve the flight or only flight number and title may be used to look your booking up whilst checking .
Here’s the connection you may use to inspect in. You can see the form of information they will need to inspect in.
When you get your tickets if you purchase them yourself, then you’ll find a confirmation email for this info. You’ll also have the ability to look up your ticket online and see the info there.
If you reserve via a TA, then they should provide you a printout for this information.
