Many people think it is an extraordinary practice, but we claim it might be a life-changing experience. Today, I fall in love with people all the time. First of all, Richard ([the hippie] from Michigan!) and I are still going. He lives in India and he came to visit me last year. I had sex at 68!
If you are an older women dating and have children, chances are you feel a little nervous about broaching the subject of dating. If you’re divorced or widowed, you might worry that your children will view any new relationship as a betrayal. Whatever your children think (and the chances are they’ll be on board!) it’s important to be honest with them early on in the process.
She’ll be independent with her own routines, interests and friends. So she won’t need to be with you all the time in the same way a younger woman might. An older woman will have learned from her experience and be wise to any tricks. She’s heard all the tired chat-up lines and stories, and can easily spot if you’re anything less than genuine. If your intentions for dating older women are sincere, you won’t have a problem.
In the end, it’s up to you to weigh the pros and cons of such a relationship and decide if it is right for you right now. Let’s see, the prospect of mind-blowing sex with an experienced, confident woman, without the expectation of a long-term commitment — I know, it’s a tough call. Like it or not, by getting involved with an older woman, you are putting yourself in a situation where the moral majority — people like your parents and boss — might frown upon you and question your decision.
